PENCIL OF PROMISE
Pencils of Promise is a non-profit organization that builds schools and increases educational opportunities in the developing world.

Background
Nowadays some people in developed countries tend to underestimate human rights because they are taken for granted. Unfortunately there is a lot of inequality in the world. Pencil of Promises needs a way to sensibilize people about lack of education for children belonging to certain regions in the world. A design element is required to display this message.
02.
Challenge
Purpose of the campaign is to make people aware of the problems that some underdeveloped countries are currently facing and trying to make a difference in the world. The message can be delivered through an ad campaign composed of 3 posters. I played the role of the art director in this project so the design has been carried out by my collaborator: Cistine.

Solution
After some initial sketches and a brainstorming section, I handed the brandbook and the guidelines to Cistine who came up with exactly what I wanted. A 3 series poster has been successfully created by us. I wanted to create a very deep meaning under the design: the pencils form a house that represents protection and care of the society beyond kids not having access to a proper education.
